Meat Science Quiz Bowl Team claims Reserve Champion title

The Texas A&M University Meat Science Quiz Bowl Team claimed the Reserve Champion title at the American Meat Science Association Reciprocal Meat Conference held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Texas A&M University, College Station. Two teams were entered with one of them making it to the finals before elimination by the eventual champion, Iowa State University. Howdy! It’s that time of year! We are seeking ambitious undergraduate students interested in participating in the Intercollegiate Meat Science Quiz Bowl Competition. The event is hosted annually by the American Meat Science Association (AMSA) at the Reciprocal Meat Conference (RMC), which will be held at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas on June 19-22, 2016. Meat Science Quiz Bowl Team competes at Reciprocal Meat Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska

The Texas A&M University Quiz Bowl Team competed at the American Meat Science Association Reciprocal Meat Conference at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, Nebraska on Sunday, June 13, 2015. Two four-member teams went deep in the double-elimination tournament before they were eliminated. The team was selected in May from a group of students who  first attended a Quiz Bowl information meeting in January, 2015. Graduate students compete/present at Reciprocal Meat Conference poster session

Seven Meat Science graduate students presented their research work at the poster session of the American Meat Science Association Reciprocal Meat Conference held in Madison, Wisconsin, June 15-18, 2014. Two graduate students, Rachel Glascock and Clay Eastwood, participated in the Poster Competition.
