CHAMPAIGN, IL, May 12, 2015— The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) has announced that Dr. Rhonda Miller, Professor of Meat Science in the Department of Animal Science at Texas A&M University, is the recipient of the 2015 Distinguished Research Award. Meat Science Quiz Bowl Team competes at Reciprocal Meat Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska
The Texas A&M University Quiz Bowl Team competed at the American Meat Science Association Reciprocal Meat Conference at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, Nebraska on Sunday, June 13, 2015. Two four-member teams went deep in the double-elimination tournament before they were eliminated. The team was selected in May from a group of students who first attended a Quiz Bowl information meeting in January, 2015.
