Pork 101™ will be held at Texas A&M University, May 21-23, 2019

Register today for the next American Meat Science Association’s (AMSA) PORK 101™ to be held in May 21-23, 2019 at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Students participate in Southwest Meat Association Annual Convention and Suppliers Showcase

Students from the Department of Animal Science participated in the Southwest Meat Association’s 62nd Annual Convention and Suppliers Showcase. Many of the students were there to receive a variety of scholarships including the Bob Ondrusek Memorial Scholarships, SMA Hall of Fame Scholarships, and SMA Foundation Scholarships. The SMIKids graduate and undergraduate scholarships were presented to Chandler Steele and Bo Garcia, respectively. Students participate in Southwest Meat Association Annual Convention

A number of undergraduate and graduate students from the Department of Animal Science at Texas A&M University participated in the Southwest Meat Association Annual Convention and Suppliers Showcase held at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas, July 19 to 22, 2017. Students receive Bob Ondrusek Memorial, SMA Hall of Honor, and SMA Foundation Scholarships

Twenty-one students from Texas A&M University were the beneficiaries of three different scholarships presented by the Southwest Meat Association at its annual convention: the Bob Ondrusek Memorial Scholarship, the SMA Hall of Honor Scholarship, and the SMA Foundation Scholarship. Hillary Henderson receives SMIKids Graduate Scholarship for 2015-2016

Hillary Henderson, a Meat Science graduate student from Alvin, Texas, is this year’s graduate recipient of the SMIKids Scholarship. Hillary was presented the scholarship at the 59th Annual Southwest Meat Association Annual Convention held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, July 22-25, 2015.
