Turner receives NAMA Scholarship Foundation Grant, Bush Presidential Library Undergraduate Travel Grant
Lindsey Turner, an undergraduate student in the Department of Animal Science, Texas A&M University, received a scholarship grant from the NAMA Scholarship Foundation in the amount of $2,250 at the Annual Convention of the North American Meat Association held March 19-22, 2014 in Palm Springs, Calif. In addition to the scholarship, she received a $500 travel grant from the association to attend the convention where she assisted with several activities as a way to network with key meat industry leaders.
